The Building and Grounds Ministry expresses the love of Christ through service to the members of WPC and to the many visitors who use the facility and grounds. This ministry is charged with maintaining a safe, functional, and efficient church building from which to serve Christ’s ministry.
Volunteers with varying expertise in construction, plumbing, electrical, grounds, maintenance and contract management & safety contribute their time and talents to help make our vision and dreams realities.
Volunteer activities include timely response to unplanned maintenance needs, scheduling and oversight of routine services, and long-term facilities planning. Volunteers also oversee lawn care, landscaping, playground and parking lot maintenance. While many activities are contracted to local service providers, there are periodic opportunities to get your hands dirty, work up a sweat, and have some fun with other volunteers.
