Annual Church Picnic

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!!

The Annual Church Picnic is Sunday, October 21, 2018.

We will meet at the church for worship service that morning and then go over to the Emily Ann Gardens for our picnic. The Fellowship Committee will provide the fried chicken and we are asking the congregation to bring salads, sides and desserts.

Suggestions are: A-I sides, J-Q desserts and R-Z salads.

Feel free to invite friends and neighbors to join us. After lunch we will play Bingo for some spectacular (????) prizes. Don’t miss out on a time of fun and fellowship.

Trash Pick up

It’s that time of year again! That is, time to remove the trash and clutter that has accumulated on our section of FM 2325, which runs past our church home. The weather has finally improved, so plan to come join us on Saturday, October 13 at 8:30 for breakfast tacos, followed by the road-side pickup at 9:00.

Bags, pickup devices, safety vests and water will be provided. Please dress appropriately (long pants, gloves and walking shoes) and use sunscreen and insect repellent. We are usually finished by 11:00 if we have a good turnout of volunteers. Come and participate in a community beautification project that benefits everyone!
