Saturday, November 17 from 10:00 – 2:00
The Wimberley Presbyterian Church Annual Christmas Gift Market will be held on in the Fellowship Hall. We will have vendors from various fair trade organizations such as True Vineyard, Guatemala missions, and SERRV. The Quilt Guild will be selling their beautiful hand-made quilts, with all of the benefits going to the Hays-Caldwell Women’s Shelter. Additionally, you may make donations to organizations such as Barnabas, Crisis Bread Basket, John Knox Ranch, and Fig Tree to give as Christmas gifts to loved ones. Please join us for this fun and worthwhile event. All proceeds go directly to the organizations.
Sunday November 11
Presbyterian Women Thank Offering
Please consider donating to the Thank Offering of Presbyterian Women to be collected Sunday, November 11. Sixteen of the projects chosen for funding in 2018 were ministries serving people in need in the United States, and four of the projects were international. More than 40 percent of the projects funded are health ministries. Please give so that more life-changing projects can be funded in 2019. Envelopes will be available in the bulletins; thank you for your generosity!
November 14 at 6:00 PM
We will meet together for a “Giving Thanks Dinner.” We as a church are so blessed and we want to share our “blessings” with others. We are asking members to bring donations for Crisis Bread Basket. These can be monetary donations or non-perishable items. A member of the Crisis Bread Basket Board will be there to give us information and answer our questions. We may be updating information as we get closer to the event. There have been some positive changes so don’t miss out!
We are asking the congregation to bring the food. Suggestions are: A –J Main Dish, K – S Side dishes and Salads, T – Z Desserts. Don’t miss out on an evening of sharing, fun and fellowship. See you on the 14th!
